William J. Trecartin, Jr., DMD

Dr. William J. Trecartin

Dr. William Trecartin is the son of a career Air Force pilot. He has lived in New Jersey since his junior year in high school. He completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology/Physiology from Cook College, Rutgers University in 1983. Following this, Dr. Trecartin graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine from New Jersey Dental School, UMDNJ in 1987. He was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Trecartin continued his training by completing a General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. This year long program provides advanced training in general dentistry, as well as medicine and trauma.

Dr. Trecartin practiced general dentistry in North Brunswick for 4 years before moving to Flemington. He has practiced in Flemington since 1992. His practice has recently moved to a new location, providing a new, modern facility to provide state of the art dental care.

Dr. Trecartin resides in Clinton Township with his wife Patricia. He has three children -- Kyle, Colleen, and Mark. He enjoys skiing and all outdoor activities.

Colleen Trecartin-Frost, DMD

Dr. Colleen Trecartin-Frost

Dr. Trecartin was born and raised in Clinton, New Jersey and often helped at the office throughout high school and college. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from Cornell University and Doctor of Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Trecartin was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the Dental Honor Society.

Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Trecartin completed her general practice residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.  Throughout this program, Dr. Trecartin gained advanced general dentistry training, working on complicated, hospital-based patients. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and Middlesex County Dental Society.

Dr. Trecartin has continued to expand her knowledge and skills through continuing education. She is determined to provide the best dental care to each and every patient and continue treating patients to the same high standards our patients are used to.

Dr. Trecartin married a fellow Cornell alumnus in November 2016. They recently adopted a new puppy, Jack Frost.  In her free time, she enjoys skiing and traveling.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Ava has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 35 plus years she considers herself blessed to have been with Dr. Trecartin for 21 of those years. It goes without say that many of her patients are truly like family. She is privileged to have provided care for many at there very first dental visit and has celebrated many chapters of there lives with them. For Ava it has been much more than a job. She truly loves helping patients improve overall dental health through education understanding and compassion. Her goal is to make you as comfortable as possible while getting the most fabulous smile. She has a heart for her patients and welcomes the opportunity to share experiences at every visit. She has just completes an Orofacial Myology coarse to extend even more compressive care.

At home she shares her love with her husband and her children; she enjoys ballroom dancing and yoga, but her favorite past time is being overly attentive to her dog Sid and her two cats.


Dental Assistant

Cheryl has worked with Dr. Trecartin for 8 years. She started as a dental assistant and now is our patient care coordinator. Her friendly smile and light hearted spirit welcome every patient to our office. She loves building relationships wit h our patients and families. She takes pride in making everyone feel at ease before and after there appointment. As liaison for patient care and dental treatment Cheryl helps navigate appointments and explains any concern regarding treatment, insurance, and finances.

At home Cheryl loves to be involved in the busy lives of her two sons, cheering them on in sports, and life. Her interests include many kinds of sports, the beach and car racing. In her occasional down time she enjoys cur l ing up and relaxing with her two cats.


Dental Assistant

Nancy has worked with Dr. Trecartin for 3 years. She has a passion for holistic healthcare. She previously worked in a chiropractic practice, she wanted to give the dental care field a try, and Dr Trecartin took her under his wing and grounded her not only with the fundamentals of assisting but also the importance of treating our patients like family. She acquired her x ray license. She believes in helping to treat patients with not only the best dental care but also uses her nurturing personality extending compassion, a sympathetic ear, and hand holding whenever necessary.

At home she continues her nurturing spirit with her three children and their poodle Oliver. Nancy loves spending as much time as possible with family, enjoying as many outdoor activities as they can. She keeps her life balanced with fitness and wellness as priorities.


Dental Assistant

Crystal joined our team in 2014, although Crystal is the newest member of the team she comes with ten years of experience as a dental assistant. She offsets the sometimes highly charged environment with her somewhat quiet yet calming personality. One of the things she enjoys most about dentistry is to see how changing a patient’s smile transforms their lives. She has the unique ability to bring humor and entertainment into even the most ordinary of days. Crystal is a dedicated team member who helps Dr. Trecartin give our patients the highest standard of care.

At home she is great mom to her two young boys. She stays busy planning parties, cooking, baking and doing crafts. Not only as a class mom but for her many friends and family members also.
